Target Information
Mouse CD86 (B7-2) is an inducible trans-membrane glycoprotein that delivers the obligatory co-stimulatory signal through CD28 and CTLA-4 on T-cells. Resting antigen-presenting cells display low surface levels; innate or adaptive stimuli trigger rapid up-regulation that amplifies or restrains immune activation. Affinity-purified antibodies detect the native 70-80 kDa glycoprotein without cross-reaction to CD80, enabling precise flow-cytometry quantification, immunohistology of germinal centers and functional assessment of antigen-presenting capacity in infection, autoimmunity and tumor models.

This product is shipped with wet ice packs. Store at -20°C on receipt (up to 12 months). Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody.
