Specifications
Target Information
Mouse HLA class II histocompatibility antigen, DRB1 beta chain (H2-Eb1, murine ortholog of human HLA-DRB1) is a 29-kDa transmembrane glycoprotein expressed on mouse antigen-presenting cells (APCs: dendritic cells, macrophages, B cells). It forms heterodimers with H2-E alpha chain, presenting exogenous peptide antigens to CD4+ T cells to initiate adaptive immune responses. Critical for murine T cell activation, immune tolerance, and pathogen clearance, it modulates both humoral and cellular immunity. Dysregulated expression or peptide presentation associates with autoimmune diseases, transplant rejection, and impaired antimicrobial defense in mice. As a key mediator of antigen presentation and adaptive immunity, mouse H2-Eb1 is a critical target for studying immunobiology, autoimmune pathologies, and transplant immunotherapeutics.
