Target Information
Mouse programmed cell death protein 1 ligand 1 (PD-L1, B7-H1) is a 40-kDa transmembrane glycoprotein expressed on immune and non-immune cells. It binds to its receptor PD-1 on T cells, delivering inhibitory signals that regulate immune responses and maintain peripheral tolerance. Expressed in mouse tissues including lymphoid organs, tumors, and inflamed tissues, it modulates T cell activation, proliferation, and effector function. Its interaction with PD-1 prevents excessive inflammation and autoimmunity while enabling immune evasion in pathological contexts. As a key regulator of immune checkpoint signaling, mouse PD-L1 is a critical target for studying immune regulation, autoimmune diseases, and tumor immunology.
