Target Information

Rat Secondary Lymphoid Tissue Chemokine (SLC), also known as CCL21, is a chemokine that plays a crucial role in lymphocyte homing and immune cell trafficking. It is highly expressed in secondary lymphoid tissues such as lymph nodes and spleen, where it guides the migration of T cells and dendritic cells. SLC interacts with its receptor, CCR7, to facilitate the movement of immune cells to sites of inflammation and immune response. Targeting SLC with specific antibodies allows for detailed investigation of its role in immune cell recruitment and lymphoid tissue organization.
