Target Information
Mouse Vasorin is a secreted, leucine-rich glycoprotein predominantly expressed in vascular smooth muscle and developing heart. It binds TGF-β isoforms, sequestering them from receptors and attenuating profibrotic signaling, while also interacting with Notch ligands to modulate vascular remodeling. Vasorin is up-regulated after arterial injury, where it suppresses neointimal hyperplasia and promotes endothelial regeneration. As a key inhibitor of TGF-β activity and a mediator of vascular repair, Vasorin is an important target for studies of atherosclerosis, cardiac development, and fibrotic disease.

This product is shipped with wet ice packs. Store at -20°C on receipt (up to 12 months). Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody.
