Target Information
Mouse CD33 is a 67-kDa transmembrane glycoprotein that targets sialylated glycans via its N-terminal V-set Ig-like domain. Expressed on myeloid progenitors, microglia and mast cells, it recruits SHP-1/2 phosphatases through cytoplasmic ITIMs, dampening Src and Syk signaling and limiting proliferation. Its short extracellular stalk presents a unique, species-restricted epitope ideal for antibody generation; anti-CD33 clones therefore label myeloid subsets in bone marrow, spleen and brain sections without cross-reacting with other Siglec family members, providing a clean marker for innate immune mapping and leukemic lineage tracking.

This product is shipped with wet ice packs. Store at -20°C on receipt (up to 12 months). Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody.
