Mouse Contactin 3 (CNTN3) is a glycosyl-phosphatidylinositol-anchored cell-adhesion molecule of the immunoglobulin superfamily, confined to neurons and oligodendrocytes. Its six Ig and four fibronectin domains promote axon-axon interactions and facilitate myelination during CNS development. Affinity-purified antibodies detect the 135 kDa isoform without cross-reactivity to Contactin 1 or 2, enabling crisp immunostaining of fiber tracts, precise quantification in western blots, and reliable sorting of neural subpopulations in developmental, injury and demyelination models.

This product is shipped with wet ice packs. Store at -20°C on receipt (up to 12 months). Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody.
