Target Information

Noradrenaline, also known as norepinephrine, is a neurotransmitter and hormone that acts as a chemical messenger in the sympathetic nervous system. It plays a vital role in regulating heart rate, blood pressure, and the body's response to stress. Over a specific dose range, systemic hypertension induced by adrenaline, noradrenaline and dopamine did not significantly increase cerebral blood flow under 2% isoflurane anaesthesia in an ovine model.
