Target Information

FcgR3 is a cell surface receptor that binds to the Fc region of antibodies, triggering various immune responses, including phagocytosis (engulfment of pathogens) and antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity. It is one of the three classes of FcgRs. Antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity is initiated when the Fab and Fc portions of the mAb bind to both the tumor cell antigen and an activating FcgR, respectively, creating a bridge from the tumor cell to the effector cell.

Target/Biomarker Porcine FCGR3
Target Synonym Low affinity immunoglobulin gamma Fc region receptor III; IgG Fc receptor III; Cytolytic trigger molecule G7; Fc-gamma RIII; FcRIII; FCGR3; CD16
