Target Information
Mouse Protransforming Growth Factor Alpha (TGFA) is a precursor protein that is processed into mature transforming growth factor alpha (TGF-α). TGF-α is a growth factor that binds to the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR), activating signaling pathways such as MAPK and PI3K/Akt. It plays a role in cell proliferation, differentiation, and survival. TGFA has been implicated in diseases such as cancer and inflammatory disorders.
