Target Information

Rat Receptor-Interacting Serine/Threonine Kinase 1 (RIPK1) is a multifunctional kinase that controls cell fate decisions. Through its kinase domain and death-domain platform, RIPK1 mediates NF-κB activation, apoptosis, or necroptosis in response to TNF-α, TLR ligands, or genotoxic stress. Expressed in immune and parenchymal cells, it balances inflammation and cell-death programs. As a central switch in stress signaling, RIPK1 is a key target for studies of immunity, tissue injury, and regulated necrosis.
