Target Information
Mouse angiostatin is a 38 kDa internal fragment of plasminogen containing kringles 1-4. it binds ATP-synthase and integrin αvβ3 on endothelial cells, blocking angiogenesis. A solvent-exposed 15-aa "KVE" loop (aa 180-194) within kringle 3 forms a β-hairpin unique among mouse plasminogen-derived fragments, offering a fixation-stable epitope. Antibodies to this loop detect native angiostatin in plasma, tumor extracts, and ischemic retina, yielding crisp extracellular bands on blots with no cross-reaction to full-length plasminogen.

This product is shipped with wet ice packs. Store at -20°C on receipt (up to 12 months). Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody.
