Target Information

Mouse vitronectin (VTN) is a 75-kDa glycoprotein present in mouse plasma and extracellular matrix. It contains integrin-binding motifs (RGD sequence) and heparin-binding domains, mediating cell adhesion, migration, and matrix assembly. Ubiquitously expressed in mouse tissues-with high levels in liver, kidney, and vascular beds-it regulates wound healing, angiogenesis, and immune cell recruitment. It also modulates coagulation and complement activation pathways. As a key mediator of cell-matrix interactions and tissue homeostasis, mouse VTN is a critical target for studying fibrotic disorders, angiogenesis-related diseases, and tissue repair mechanisms.
