Target Information
Mouse kallikrein 13 (mKLK13) is a 30 kDa secreted serine protease highly expressed in stratified epithelia of skin, tongue and forestomach. Its chymotrypsin-like cleft preferentially cleaves after bulky hydrophobic residues, activating proteases and lipid-processing enzymes within the cornifying layer. The catalytic domain carries a unique 5-residue insertion forming an exposed epitope that is absent in any other murine kallikrein, permitting selective antibody capture in tissue fluids without off-target recognition.

This product is shipped with wet ice packs. Store at -20°C on receipt (up to 12 months). Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody.
