Specifications
Target Information
Vasodilator-stimulated phosphoprotein (VASP) is a member of the Ena-VASP protein family. It contains an N-terminal EVH1 domain that binds proteins with specific motifs, targeting VASP to focal adhesions and cell membranes. Bovine Vasodilator-stimulated Phosphoprotein is encoded by the VASP gene in cattle. It is an actin binding protein localized to areas of focal contacts, and is a substrate for the cyclic adenosine monophosphate/cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cAMP/cGMP)-dependent protein kinases (PKA, PKG).
