The CD3 epsilon subunit is a crucial component of the T-cell receptor (TCR) complex found on the surface of T-lymphocytes. The TCR-CD3 complex plays an essential role in the adaptive immune response. Bovine T-Cell Surface Glycoprotein CD3 Epsilon Chain is encoded by the CD3E gene in cattle. CD3E and CD3D genes were syntenic with each other and located to bovine syntenic group U19.
