Target Information
The Cholecystokinin A receptor (CCKAR), also known as CCK1, is a G-protein coupled receptor that binds to sulfated members of the cholecystokinin (CCK) family of peptide hormones. Bovine Cholecystokinin A Receptor is encoded by the CCKAR gene in cattle. Research has suggested that the CCKAR gene could be used as a potential candidate for the improvement of carcass quality and body measurements of Qinchuan cattle.
