Mouse Nucleoporin 107 (NUP107) is a core scaffold subunit of the nuclear-pore complex, anchoring transport channels to the inner nuclear membrane. Expressed ubiquitously, it enables active import/export of proteins and RNA while maintaining pore architecture under mechanical stress. Polyclonal antibodies detect the native 107 kDa protein without cross-reactivity to other nucleoporins, providing a reliable marker for nuclear-envelope integrity, cell-cycle staging and mechanotransduction studies.
