TNF Receptor-associated Factor 6 (TRAF6) is a protein involved in crucial cellular signaling pathways. It is a member of the TNF receptor-associated factor (TRAF) protein family. It mediates signal transduction from members of the TNF receptor superfamily. TNF Receptor-associated Factor 6 is encoded by the TRAF6 gene in pigs. Research has shown that TRAF6 plays crucial roles in multiple biological systems through polyubiquitination-mediated NF-κB activation.
