Target Information

Natamycin, also known as pimaricin, is an antifungal medication used to treat fungal infections around the eye. It is particularly effective in treating infections of the eyelids, conjunctiva, and cornea. Natamycin is administered as eyedrops for this purpose. Additionally, it serves as a preservative in the food industry. It is applied topically to treat fungal infections caused by organisms such as Candida, Aspergillus, Cephalosporium, Fusarium, and Penicillium.
