Target Information

The Protein Z-dependent protease inhibitor inhibits the activity of the coagulation protease factor Xa when in the presence of PROZ, calcium, and phospholipids. It also inhibits factor XIa without requiring any cofactors. In mice, the function of Serpina10 (serine protease inhibitor family A member 10) is primarily associated with regulating inflammatory and metabolic pathways. In mouse models of specific viral infections, such as SeV and KIRA8, the expression of Serpina10 is significantly elevated, suggesting a potential protective role during viral infections.
