Rat Trefoil Factor 2 (TFF2) is a 12-kDa secreted peptide rich in trefoil domains that stabilizes mucosal surfaces and promotes epithelial repair. Produced by goblet cells in the stomach and small intestine, it binds integrins and EGF receptors to accelerate wound closure and protect against acid-induced injury. TFF2 is rapidly up-regulated during inflammation and ulcer healing. As a key guardian of gastrointestinal integrity, it is an important target for studies of mucosal protection and regeneration.

This product is shipped with wet ice packs. Store at -20°C on receipt (up to 12 months). Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody.
