Target Information

Lipoprotein lipase is an enzyme located outside cells on the surface of vascular endothelium and is anchored to the walls of capillaries. It is primarily found in adipose tissue, muscle, and heart tissue, but not in the liver. Sequence analysis has revealed that goat lipoprotein lipase is similar to that of other species, including sheep, bovine, human, and mouse.
