Target Information

Interleukin-22 (IL-22), also known as ILTIF, is a protein encoded by theIL22 gene. It is a member of a group of cytokines called the IL-10 family or IL-10 superfamily, and is an effective cellular inflammatory response mediator. Research showed that ileal IL-22 expression level in chickens fed with Piper sarmentosum extract was significantly increased compared with the control.
