Target Information

Melatonin is a hormone that plays a role in sleep and helps regulate circadian rhythms. Typically, melatonin production increases in the evening after sunset. Melatonin treatment of adult cashmere goats can increase cashmere yield and improve cashmere fibre quality by inducing cashmere growth during the cashmere non-growth period, when cashmere goats are in the mid and late stages of lactation.
