Specifications
Target Information
Creatine kinase M-type (CK-MM), also known as muscle-type creatine kinase, is an enzyme expressed in various tissues and cell types. CK-MM catalyzes the conversion of creatine and uses adenosine triphosphate (ATP) to create phosphocreatine (PCr) and adenosine diphosphate (ADP). Bovine Creatine Kinase M-type is encoded by the CKM gene in cattle. It is a creatine kinase which catalyses the reversible transfer of the phosphate moiety from phosphocreatine (PCr) to ADP, generating creatine and ATP.
