Target Information

The bone morphogenetic protein (BMP) receptors are a family of transmembrane serine/threonine kinases that includes the type I receptors BMPR1A and BMPR1B and the type II receptor BMPR2. These receptors are also closely related to the activin receptors ACVR1 and ACVR2. Bovine Bone Morphogenetic Protein Receptor 1A is encoded by the BMPR1A gene in cattle. Research has shown that BMPR1A is a target gene of bta-miR-493, which ould promote bovine preadipocyte proliferation but inhibit their differentiation by targeting BMPR1A via the TGFβ/BMP and p38MAPK signaling pathways.

Target/Biomarker Bovine BMPR1A
