Target Information

Vitamin B2, also known as riboflavin, is an essential water-soluble vitamin that plays a crucial role in the body's energy production and metabolism of carbohydrates, fats, and proteins. Riboflavin helps break down proteins, fats, and carbohydrates. It also plays a vital role in maintaining the body's energy supply by converting carbohydrates into adenosine triphosphate (ATP). Riboflavin deficiency during gestation should be considered in case of premature parturition and stillborn litters in pigs.
