Target Information
Mouse Histidine-Rich Glycoprotein (Hrg) is a multifunctional plasma glycoprotein with a multidomain structure that enables it to interact with various ligands and regulate multiple biological processes. It is primarily synthesized in the liver and circulates in the blood at significant concentrations. HRG plays roles in immune regulation, angiogenesis, fibrinolysis, and coagulation. It can modulate macrophage polarization, promoting an M1 phenotype in certain contexts. HRG also binds to heparin and divalent cations like Zn²⁺, impacting T-cell adhesion and proliferation.
