Target Information
Canine fibroblast growth factor 7 (FGF7), also known as Keratinocyte Growth Factor (KGF), is a key regulator in tissue development, wound repair, and immune response. It is particularly important for epithelial cell proliferation, migration, and protection, promoting repair in various tissues. In dogs, FGF7 plays a role in the development of the skeletal system and craniomaxillofacial organs, including the palate, eyes, and teeth. It also has potential effects on cartilage development and related diseases, indicating its broad impact on canine health and physiology.
