Target Information
Mouse pyridoxal kinase (PDXK) is a 35 kDa ATP-dependent enzyme whose two-domain clamp converts vitamin B6 aldehydes into 5'-phosphate esters. A solvent-exposed 15-aa "HGK" loop (aa 180-194) bridges the ATP lid and core sheet, folding into a β-turn unique among murine kinases. Antibodies to this loop trace native PDXK in brain neuropil, liver cytosol and pancreatic islets, giving crisp cytoplasmic puncta and single-band blots without cross-reaction to PDXK paralogs or other kinases.

This product is shipped with wet ice packs. Store at -20°C on receipt (up to 12 months). Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody.
