Rabbit Anti-Mouse Probable ATP-dependent RNA Helicase DDX58 (DDX58) Polyclonal Antibody
Product Overview
BioVenic rabbit polyclonal antibody is specific for mouse probable ATP-dependent RNA helicase DDX58. It is purified by protein A. It can be applied to WB, IHC, ICC and IP assays of mouse probable ATP-dependent RNA helicase DDX58.
Specifications
Target Information
Mouse probable ATP-dependent RNA helicase DDX58-commonly known as RIG-I-scans the cytoplasm for viral RNA bearing 5'-triphosphate blunt ends or short double-stranded motifs. Binding to these non-self RNAs triggers ATP-driven conformational changes that expose its tandem CARD domains, enabling docking with mitochondrial MAVS and initiation of type-I interferon signaling. The helicase core (aa 229-662) provides a unique, pathogen-associated epitope ideal for antibody development; anti-DDX58 clones therefore visualize viral sensor activation in situ without interference from related helicases .
