Target Information
Mouse Glutaredoxin (Grx) is a small, thiol-disulfide oxidoreductase that catalyzes the reduction of protein-glutathione mixed disulfides using reduced glutathione as a cofactor. It is ubiquitously expressed in cytosol, mitochondria, and nucleus, where it participates in redox homeostasis, protein deglutathionylation, and iron-sulfur cluster assembly. Grx protects enzymes and signaling proteins from oxidative damage, modulating pathways such as NF-κB and apoptosis. As a key component of the glutathione-dependent antioxidant system, Grx is an important target for studies of oxidative stress, aging, and metabolic disorders.

This product is shipped with wet ice packs. Store at -20°C on receipt (up to 12 months). Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody.
