Target Information
Mouse tetraspanin 30 (Tspan30, CD63) is a 47-kDa transmembrane glycoprotein belonging to the tetraspanin superfamily, broadly expressed in mouse immune cells (macrophages, dendritic cells, lymphocytes) and epithelial tissues (kidney, lung, intestine). It localizes to late endosomes, lysosomes, and exosomes, forming "tetraspanin webs" with integrins, receptors, and signaling molecules to modulate cell adhesion, vesicular trafficking, and immune activation. It regulates antigen presentation, exosome-mediated intercellular communication, and lysosomal membrane integrity, supporting host defense, tissue repair, and cellular homeostasis. Enriched in mouse lymphoid organs and inflamed sites, it orchestrates immune cell crosstalk and cargo sorting. As a key mediator of vesicular transport and immune regulation, mouse Tspan30/CD63 is a critical target for studying infectious diseases, cancer progression, and immune-related disorders.
