Target Information
Mouse adropin is a 5 kDa secreted peptide whose 43-residue core adopts a knotted β-hairpin that docks endothelial VE-cadherin, steering nitric-oxide tone and lipid metabolism. A solvent-exposed 12-aa "KVE" loop (aa 22-33) between the two cystines presents a conformational epitope unique among mouse metabolic peptides, preserved after secretion and fixation. Antibodies to this loop detect native adropin in hepatic sinusoids, brain microvasculature, and serum, yielding crisp extracellular bands on blots with no cross-reaction to other secreted hormones.

This product is shipped with wet ice packs. Store at -20°C on receipt (up to 12 months). Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody.
