Target Information

Serpin family E member 1, also known as plasminogen activator inhibitor 1, is encoded by the SERPINE1 gene in pigs. Research showed that the expression of CD44 and PAI-1 (encoded by SERPINE1) was increased in the intestines of piglets during viral infection.
