Target Information

Protein S100-A10 is encoded by the S100A10 gene in pigs. S100A10 is a member of a group of small Ca²⁺-binding proteins with a molecular weight of 10-12 kDa. S100A10 is localized in the cytoplasm and/or nucleus of various cells. It is unique in that it is locked in a permanently open conformation, comparable to the Ca²⁺ bound configuration of the other S100 proteins.
