Target Information

Prostaglandin F2 Alpha is a naturally occurring prostaglandin. In the pig, as in the cow and sheep, prostaglandin F2α (PGF2α) of uterine origin is believed to be the physiological agent responsible for causing regression of corpora lutea at the end of a nonfertile estrous cycle.
