Specifications
Target Information
Bovine Phospholipase D3 is encoded by the PLD3 gene in cattle. PLD3 belongs to the phospholipase D (PLD) superfamily due to the presence of two HKD motifs commonly found in PLD family members. However, unlike PLD1 or PLD2, PLD3 does not exhibit known catalytic function similar to those enzymes. It is synthesized as an N-glycosylated type II transmembrane protein. It is associated with Alzheimer's disease, spinocerebellar ataxia, and systemic lupus erythematosus.
