Target Information

Coagulation Factor XIII A Chain (F13A1), also known as factor XIIIa, is a critical protein involved in blood clotting. Factor XIIIa is the activated form of coagulation factor XIII. It acts as a transglutaminase enzyme, catalyzing the formation of gamma-glutamyl-epsilon-lysine crosslinks between fibrin molecules during blood clot formation. Bovine Coagulation Factor XIII A Chain is encoded by the F13A1 gene in cattle. It promotes wound healing in damaged tissues, providing structural support and repaired vascularization.

Target/Biomarker Bovine F13A1
Target Synonym coagulation factor XIII A chain; blood coagulation factor XIII A1 subunit; coagulation factor XIII, A1 polypeptide; coagulation factor XIIIa; protein-glutamine gamma-glutamyltransferase A chain; transglutaminase A chain
