Target Information
Vascular non-inflammatory molecule 3 (VNN3) is a plasma protein closely associated with acute graft-versus-host disease (GI aGVHD) in the gastrointestinal tract of mice. Research indicates that VNN3 is part of the ubiquitinase isozyme family and plays a role in the metabolic processes of proteins, carbohydrates, and fats, as well as in oxidative stress and inflammatory responses. In GI aGVHD models, VNN3 expression is significantly upregulated, particularly in intestinal epithelial cells, a change that may be linked to intestinal damage and inflammatory responses.
