Mouse Insulin Like Growth Factor Binding Protein 3 (IGFBP3) ELISA Kit-Sandwich

Insulin-like growth factor-binding protein 3 (IGFBP-3) is part of the IGF-binding protein family. These proteins extend the half-life of IGFs and can either inhibit or stimulate their growth-promoting effects in cell cultures by modifying IGFs' interaction with their cell surface receptors. IGFBP-3 also demonstrates IGF-independent antiproliferative and apoptotic effects through its receptor, TMEM219/IGFBP-3R, and promotes apoptosis in testicular germ cells.
