Mouse DNA Methyltransferase 1 (DNMT1) ELISA Kit-Sandwich

DNA Methyltransferase 1 (DNMT1) methylates CpG residues, with a preference for hemimethylated DNA. During the S phase, it associates with DNA replication sites to maintain the methylation pattern on the newly synthesized strand, a process critical for epigenetic inheritance. DNMT1 also associates with chromatin during the G2 and M phases to preserve DNA methylation independently of replication.
