Target Information

Bovine Calcineurin Subunit B type 1 is encoded by the PPP3R1 gene in cattle. PPP3R1 is a regulatory subunit of calcineurin, which plays a role in neuronal calcium signaling. The study on transcriptome profiling of muscle in Nelore cattle identified that PPP3R1 participates in the mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK) signaling pathway, which is responsible for cell proliferation, differentiation, and apoptosis.

Target/Biomarker Bovine PPP3R1
Target Synonym protein phosphatase 3 regulatory subunit B, alpha; calcineurin subunit B type 1; calcineurin B; protein phosphatase 2B regulatory subunit 1
