Target Information

Alpha-2-macroglobulin is encoded by the A2M gene in chickens. Research showed that A2M is a novel estrogen-stimulated gene expressed in specifically luminal and glandular epithelia of the chicken oviduct and may be used for monitoring effects of therapies for ovarian cancer in laying hens.
