Target Information

Heat shock protein 90 (Hsp90) is critical for cell homeostasis. It is a chaperone protein that assists other proteins in folding properly, stabilizes proteins against heat stress, and aids in protein degradation. It is one of the most common heat-related proteins and is highly expressed across various species. Inhibition of Hsp90 during in vitro maturation compromises further embryo development in bovine oocytes.
