Target Information
Aspartate Aminotransferase, Cytoplasmic is encoded by the GOT1 gene in pigs. It is a distinct isoenzyme of glutamic oxaloacetic transaminase in eukaryotic cells, which is located in the cytoplasm. GOT1 plays a critical role in the regulation of cell proliferation by participating in amino acid metabolism, particularly glutamine metabolism. GOT1 is top expressed in various tissues, including the right ventricle, body of the tongue, vastus lateralis muscle, prefrontal cortex, and more.
