Target Information

Bovine Cell Division Cycle Protein 23 Homolog is encoded by the CDC23 gene in cattle. CDC23 localizes to the meiotic spindle during cell division. It is a protein that serves as a subunit of the anaphase-promoting complex (APC). It is a critical regulator of cell cycle and cell growth, and may involve with thyroid cancer initiation and progression. It functions during the metaphase-to-anaphase transition of the cell cycle.
