Target Information

Bovine Adipocyte Plasma Membrane-Associated Protein is encoded by the APMAP gene in cattle. APMAP is a glycosyl type II transmembrane protein primarily distributed in the plasma membrane and endoplasmic reticulum of adipocytes. It may play a role in adipocyte differentiation and contribute to maintaining normal physiological metabolic functions in adipocytes. The expression of APMAP is necessary for the maturation of adipocytes to acquire their capacity to store lipids.
