Target Information

Peptide YY (PYY) and neuropeptide Y (NPY) are two peptides comprised of 36 amino acids, exhibiting structural similarities to pancreatic polypeptide (PP). PYY is capable of inhibiting autonomic neurotransmission, potentially through a mechanism involving the ganglionic or postganglionic inhibition of beta-adrenergic stimulation.
